The agreement between you and Bangkok Ballers League when you register and play.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your registration and participation in the Bangkok Ballers League ("we", "us", "our"). By registering, ticking the agreement boxes, and adding a payment card, you ("you", "the player") agree to these Terms on your own behalf and, where you register a team, on behalf of every player in your squad.
You must be 18 years or older (or have a parent/guardian's consent) and physically fit to play competitive football. Registration is confirmed only once your first payment is successfully taken and we allocate you a place. Places are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participation is paid by a deposit plus weekly match-day charges. At registration you pay a deposit, ฿3,000 for a team or ฿500 for a solo player, which confirms your place and saves your payment card securely with our processor. The weekly fee is then charged automatically to that card every match day for 7 weeks, beginning 8 September 2026: ฿3,000 per week for a team (฿24,000 total for the season) or ฿300 per week for a solo player (฿2,600 total). Billing ends automatically after the seventh weekly charge.
You are committing to the full season fee. The total cost to play the season is ฿24,000 per team (or ฿2,600 per solo player). By registering you agree to pay this full amount for the season. The deposit-plus-weekly structure is simply an affordability arrangement that spreads the fee across the season for convenience — it is not a week-by-week opt-in. Aside from the withdrawal window in section 4, once you register you are liable for the full season fee whether or not you play every week.
You authorise these scheduled charges when you tick the billing box at registration. If the season's start date changes, the schedule shifts with it and you will be notified. Fees are shown in Thai Baht (THB); if your card is issued in another currency, your bank or card issuer converts the charge at their rate.
Payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment provider. Your card details are stored securely by Stripe and are never seen or stored by Bangkok Ballers League. By registering you authorise Bangkok Ballers League, via Stripe, to store your card and charge the recurring weekly fee described above.
If a scheduled charge fails, Stripe may automatically retry it and you agree to settle any outstanding amount promptly. Repeated failed payments may result in suspension or forfeiture of your place without refund.
Withdrawal within the first two weeks. A team or player may withdraw from the league within the first two weeks of the season by notifying us in writing at admin@bangkokballersleague.com. In that case you are charged only for those first two weeks — for a team, the ฿3,000 deposit plus one further ฿3,000 weekly charge (฿6,000 in total); for a solo player, the ฿500 deposit plus one ฿300 weekly charge (฿800 in total) — and your remaining weekly payments are then switched off. If any weekly charge is taken after your withdrawal has been confirmed, we will refund it.
After the first two weeks there are no withdrawals and no refunds — the full season fee remains payable. We may cancel or reschedule fixtures due to weather, venue availability or circumstances beyond our control; where a full match week is cancelled by us and not made up, we will credit or waive that week's fee.
This withdrawal right does not apply where you are removed for cause (see section 6): in that case no payments are refunded and the full outstanding balance of the season fee becomes immediately due.
Football is a physical, contact sport that carries an inherent risk of injury, and you participate voluntarily and entirely at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, you release, waive and hold harmless Bangkok Ballers League, its organisers, owners, officers, staff, referees, volunteers, partners and sponsors, together with the owners, operators and staff of any venue or facility the league uses (each a "Released Party"), from any and all claims, demands, liability or legal action for bodily injury, illness, death, disability, or loss of or damage to property arising out of or connected with your participation, including any caused by the ordinary negligence of a Released Party. You agree not to sue or bring any legal claim against any Released Party for such injury or loss, and to indemnify and hold each Released Party harmless from any claim brought by you or on your behalf. A venue or facility used by the league is not owned or controlled by the league, and neither the league nor the venue is responsible for any injury you may suffer before, during or after play. This does not cover gross negligence or wilful misconduct, which cannot be waived by law. You are responsible for your own health insurance and any medical costs, and you consent to reasonable first aid being administered if you are injured.
You agree to follow the league rules, respect referee decisions, and act fairly toward opponents, teammates and officials. Referees' decisions are final. Yellow and red cards apply; a red card carries a suspension for the next fixture.
Removal for cause. Serious misconduct — including fighting, violence, discrimination, or the abuse of referees, officials, staff or other participants — may result in your or your team's immediate removal from the league. Such a removal is a removal for cause: it results directly from your own breach of the league rules and this agreement, which you read and sign at registration. Where you are removed for cause: (a) your deposit and all payments already made are non-refundable; and (b) the full outstanding balance of the season fee (฿24,000 per team or ฿2,600 per solo player, less any amounts already paid) becomes immediately due and payable and may be charged to your card on file in a single payment. This reflects that you committed to the full season fee, that the removal arises from your own conduct, causes a financial loss to the league, and forfeits a place that another team could have taken. You expressly authorise this charge and, by agreeing to these Terms and signing at registration, you waive any right to a refund or chargeback, and any right to contest these charges on the basis of a removal for cause. Depending on severity, you may also be permanently banned from the league.
Photographs and video are often taken at matches. If you tick the optional media-consent box at registration, you consent to images and footage of you being used to promote the league across its website and social channels. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us.
We may adjust fixtures, venues, format, fees or these Terms where reasonably necessary. Material changes will be communicated to registered players in advance. Continued participation after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
